WE decided that since I'll be 65 next month,
and she'll be ?? and January will mark our
44th anniversary that we would do something
completely different. So, last Friday,
we decided to do something I have always
wanted to do. We would buy a dependable
Corvette (one that didn't come from a salvage
yard) and travel Route 66. We do not
plan to make it all in one trip, but we are
going to try to do it a little at a time.
Well, Monday, we went to Tulsa and completed
the first step. Below is the results.
Of course, we'll take the laptop and the camera, so we'll be in touch. Our leave date is still uncertain as we do have some prior commitments, but we are determined to do it. |
