Once in a while, I get a request like this.  Sometimes I can help, sometimes not.
In this particular case, I could help, and received three pictures for my efforts.

"My father, Avery Jeffers, and his brother, Willis Jeffers, worked in the mines in the late 1930's and possibly early 40's.
I have a picture of them, showing a mine's name - Butte. I believe it to be somewhere around the Kansas border,
 but not sure. Hoping to find out more info on this site."

My grandmother and grandfather, William Dee and Martha Ellen Ennis Jeffers, are both buried at Union Cemetery, Stotts City, MO.
