I recently received some very well written, informative, articles from the Kansas City Star newspaper.  They were written in the early fifties.  One especially, written Feb. 15, 1950, concerning the events leading up to the condemnation of four blocks on Main Street, Picher, should be read by everyone.  Since I know a little about copyright laws (being a publisher) I contacted the Kansas City Star about posting said article on this website.  Here is their requirements:
