It was a much simpler time.  However, that early, we had absentee land owners. The bridge over Tar Creek on East Central had just been finished. You could get a good meal for twenty cents. Buggies and wagons were advertised instead of cars and trucks. The total assets of the First national bank wouldn't buy much of a 2015 car.
