SANDRA K.(Newman) HOWARD CARTHAGE-Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fullerton Cemetery, south of Carthage, for Sandra K. Howard, 69, Carthage, who died at 7:40 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at her home following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home. Survivors include a son, Cecil Howard, and three daughters, Kathy Harris, Gail Hamilton and Regina Taylor, and six grandchildren, Emily Harris, Denise, Amber and Megan Taylor, Justin Howard and Kaitlin Hamilton.

Three Brothers, Corbin Newman Bartlesville Oklahoma.Walter Newman Miami Oklahoma, Richie Newman Broken Arrow Oklahoma Mrs. Howard was born Sept. 10, 1943, in Miami, Okla., to Corbin S. Newman and Leona M. (Albro) Newman. She had been a lifetime resident od Carthage, having owned and operated Sandra’s Beauty Shop. She then worked for Shirley Davis Beauty Shop and Royal Clippers before retiring. She was a former member of First Assembly of God/Grace Pointe Assembly of God Church. She married Robert Wayne Howard on July 26, 1962, in Miami, Okla. He died Jan. 8, 2003. |
