Odell Miller, Jr. of Quapaw, Okla. passed away January 16, 2013 in Quapaw, Okla. He was 67.

Mr. Miller was born June 13, 1945 in Picher, Okla. to Odell and Zora (James) Miller. He had lived in the Wyandotte, Quapaw area most of his life. Graduate from Wyandotte High School, Serving in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was a member of the D.A.V. Chapter 50 of Commerce. He was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Brenda Miller. Survivors include two brothers Gerald miller and wife Delories of Quapaw, Okla., George Miller and wife Barbara of Wyandotte, Okla., two sisters Geraldine “Geri” Qualls of Lowell, Kan., Sandra Barnes and husband Cliff of Quapaw, Okla., Several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday Jan. 18, 2013 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Commerce. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday Jan. 19, 2013 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Commerce, Okla. Rev. Paul Case will officiate. Interment will be in Baxter Springs Cemetery in Baxter Springs, Kan. Pallbearers will be Jim Jennings, John Jennings, Bob Fields, Tony Stansell, Steve Barnes and David Price. Honorary Pallbearers Colby Cruz, Dave Barnes, Jr., Cliff Barnes. Military Rites will be conducted by American Legion Post # 147 Funeral Detail.
