Leila “Virginia” Cooper passed away in Erie, Kan. of natural
causes on 5:50 p.m. April 14, 2011. She was born Sept. 24, 1920
in Cardin.
She is survived by three daughters, seven grandchildren and
nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew “Jack” Cooper.
The service will be held 10 a.m. April 16 at the Paul Thomas
Funeral Home in Miami. Graveside services will follow at GAR
Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Cardin Baptist Church.
