Bruce Dewayne Riggins, of Welch, OK, passed away Saturday, July
9, 2011 at his home. He was 47 years old.
He was born October 3, 1963 in Miami, Oklahoma to Charles and
Lorene (Boyd) Riggins. He was a graduate of Quapaw High
School. After graduating, he enlisted with the Reserves and
proudly served our country as an United States Marine.
He worked as a mechanic in the area for many years. He loved
the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and
friends.
Bruce was preceded in death by his grandmother.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; three sons, Charles, Cody
and Bill Riggins, all of Welch; one daughter, Paige Riggins of
Welch; his parents, Charles and Lorene Riggins of Welch; two
sisters, Diane Turner and Rebecca Anderson, both of Miami;
numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and a host of
friends.
