Theresa Nadine Kirk passed away April 16, 2010 in Miami at the
age of 48 years.
Theresa was born November 9, 1961 in Baxter Springs, Kansas to
her parents Carl and Martha Reeves Taylor.
Theresa was a longtime resident of Picher, Oklahoma and has
lived in Miami since 2007. On May 5, 1982 Mr. Leslie Kirk took
Miss Theresa Taylor as his bride at Highway Tabernacle Church.
She was a nurse aid by trade and worked for Eastwood Manor
Nursing Home. Theresa loved fishing, raising birds, working in
her yard and taking day trips with her husband Leslie.
She is survived by her husband, Leslie, of the home; two
brothers, Carl Taylor of Baxter Springs, Kansas and Luke Taylor
of Baxter Springs, Kansas; three sisters, Sylvia Fairman of
Miami, Della Busby of Treece, Kansas and Kimberly Taylor of
Columbus, Kansas.
Theresa is preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside memorial service was held 2 p.m. Friday April 23,
2010 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus, Kansas with Rev. Ray
Clonts officiating.
