Shirley Elizabeth Mott of Commerce, OK passed away Friday May
6, 2011 at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami,
OK. She was 82.
Mrs. Mott was born August 7, 1928 in Picher, OK to Arthur and
Grace (Kincaid) Woodworth. She had lived in the Picher area
most of her life, moving to Commerce in 2008. She was a
member of the Union Church in Picher, OK and had served as an
EMT for Picher Fire Dept. Ambulance Service. She and her
husband were avid archers and fishermen. They won 2 years in
a row the National Couples Archery Championship in 1969 and
1970.
She was preceded in death by her son Mickey Mott in 2006, her
parents, a brother Ted Woodworth, 3 sisters Doris Osburn,
Rita Ray and Jeannie Jones. She married John Mott July 22,
1945 in Picher, OK. He survives of the home.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday May 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK. Pastor Bill Richey
will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday
evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will
be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Services are under the
direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK.
