Orvel E. Hatfield
| Orvel Edgar Hatfield Jr. 79, Peculiar, Mo.
passed away February 23, 1914 at the Research Medical Center. A
celebration of his life included visitation 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday
February 27 at the Park Lawn Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Green Lawn Cemetery. Orvel's life began when he was born in Cardin, Oklahoma to Orvel and Francis Hatfield on August 14, 1934. He graduated from Picher high School in the class of 1953. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Lawrence Hatfield. He served in the Army from 1958 to 1963. He retired from the Bayer Medical Corporation in 1996 after 34 years of service. Orvel was married to Roberta for 52 years, and will be deeply missed by family and friends. Orvel leaves his wife Roberta, daughter Teresa and son-in-law Michael Henry; tow grandchildren, Zachary and Chloe Newton and brother Floyd Hatfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
