Neva Jean (Keilbach) Powell Neva Powell passed away February 3, 2013 at the Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.  She was 78 years old. Neva was born to Louis and Grace Keilbach February 1, 1935 in Longview, Illinois.  She grew up in Broadlands, Illinois and graduated from Allerton Illinois High School in the class of 1953. She married Collins Powell from Cardin, Oklahoma when he was in the USAF stationed at Chanute AFB, Rantoul, Illinois.  They were wed in Champaign, Illinois on October 31, 1953 Neva and Collins have lived in Miami, Oklahoma since he retired in 1996. Preceding Neva in death are her parents, a sister Betty Delores Keilbach and a son Terry Lee Powell who are buried in the Sidney, Illinois Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, one daughter Teresa Schaubroeck in Clovis, New Mexico and three sons, Michael Powell in Marysville, Washington, Daniel Powell, in Kirksville, Missouri and Jeffery Powell in Bonaire, Georgia. She has one granddaughter Rachel Powell in Perry, Georgia, and grandsons Randy and Russell Powell who reside in Utah. Services are under the direction of Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami
