Chester Green Jack
Chester Green of Quapaw, Okla. passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at
Quaker Hill Nursing Home in Lowell, Kan.
He was 92. Jack was
born Oct. 26, 1922 in Peoria, Okla. to Evertt and Ollie (Garvin) Green.
He had lived in the Picher, Quapaw area most of his life. He served in
the Army during WWII and retired from B.F. Goodrich in Miami, Okla. Jack was
preceded in death by his wife Peggy June (Miller) Green on Sept. 16,
2001 and his parents, brother Everett (Shug) Green and two sisters
Louise (Toots) Green and Nadine Green. Survivors
include four sons Dick Green of Miami, Okla., Danny Green and wife
Sheila of Quapaw, Okla., Jack Green and wife Connie of Owasso, Okla.,
David Green of Eureka Springs, Ark., a brother Steve Green and nine
Grandchildren and ten Great Grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at
the Green Family Cemetery at66101 E. 32 Road in Quapaw, Okla.
Rev. Jack Green, Jr. and Danny Garner will
officiate.
Pallbearers will be Steve Green, Rhett Green,
Sonny Green and Robert Green. The family will receive friends from 6 to
8 p.m. Thursday evening at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami,
Okla.
Services have been placed in care of the Paul Thomas
Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, Okla.
