Iva
Lou Davis of Picher died Tuesday Oct.
13, 2009, at Eastwood Manor Nursing
Center in Commerce. She was 90.
Mrs. Davis was born Aug. 11, 1919, in
Marshfield, Mo., to Fred and Katie
(Fortune) Holcomb. She lived in Picher
most of her life.
She had worked at OK Cleaners and was a
custodian for Picher Post Office. She
was a member of the Union Church in
Picher for several years and a member of
the True Companion Class at Union
Church. She was preceded in death by
her first husband, Troy Graves in 1959;
second husband, Phillip Davis in 1968;
her parents; three brothers and two
sisters.
Survivors include one son, James Graves
and wife Sandra of Grove; one daughter,
Liz Carnes and husband Larry “Babe” of
Quapaw, four grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St.
Luke Cemetery in Marshfield, Mo.
Chaplain David Rycroft will officiate.
