Gary Garrett of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Gary was born September 2, 1942 in Picher, Oklahoma to Gilbert and Rita (Conder) Garrett. He lived in Cardin, Oklahoma for many years before moving to Broken Arrow.

Gary was an electrician for 50 years. He was a member of I.B.E.W. No. 584 where he was a union organizer and inspector. He was also a member of Cardin Baptist Church.

Gary was preceded in death by his grandson, Terrell Ellis, a brother, Cary Garrett and his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Garrett and two daughters Gara Sue Pelcher and husband Jeffrey of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Shelly Bliss of Tulsa, Oklahoma, her son Rex Garrett and wife Kim of Fayetteville, Arkansas, his sisters Sherry Pitt and husband Jerry, Linda Collinson and husband Chuck, his brother Mark Garrett and wife Amelia, his grandchildren, Derrick Pelcher and wife Amanda, Bradley Garrett, Nathan Pelcher and wife Lauren, Jordan Garrett, Garrett Ellis, Racheal Ellis and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2016 at Cardin Baptist Church east of Miami, Oklahoma. Rev. Karen Krokroskia and Rev. Jackie Crafton will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami with Bradley Garrett, Garrett Ellis, Nathan Pelcher, Derrick Pelcher, Stephen Garrett and Shane Garrett serving as pallbearers.
