David M. Carlin, 69, Neosho, Mo., died March 5, 2015, at Medicalodge, in Neosho, following an illness.

David was born Dec. 6, 1945, in Littlefield, Texas, the son of Merl K. and Catherine Carlin, of Picher, Okla. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard, December 1965 through June 1982. He worked on the packing line and as a stockman for Sunbeam for 17 years, tool and die at Eagle Picher for 3 years and then as a stocker at Wal-Mart. He enjoyed doing puzzles and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.

David and Karen Johnson were married on March 12, 1994, at Joplin, Mo., and she survives.

Also surviving are two stepchildren, Carl Johnson and Alex Johnson; his twin brother, Dennis Carlin and wife, Judy and brother, Gary Linton of Roswell, N.M.
