Rev. Clyde J Stilley of North Miami, OK passed away Saturday March 30, 2013 at Hillcrest Hospital in Claremore, Ok. He was 87.

Rev. Stilley was born July 27, 1925 in Eureka Springs, AR to W. and Sarah (Parker) Stilley. Clyde Served as A 3RD Class Petty Officer in the Navy during WWII. He was a Baptist Minister since 1951 pastoring at Patterson Height s Baptist Church in Anderson, MO, Mount Zion Baptist Church West of Miami, Northeast Baptist Church in Miami, Narcissa Baptist Church and Cardin Baptist Church in Cardin, OK He held Revivals in many Church’s and touched many people with his good heartedness and kindness. Rev. Stilley also had worked as a bodyman for Neal Norton Motors in Miami for many years and for Paul Thomas Funeral Home.

He had married Verna M. Wright on March 30, 1946. She preceded him in death on October 21, 2008. He was also preceded by two sons Jordan Stilley in 2009 and Rick Stilley in 2011, 2 brothers Raymond Stilley and Albert Stilley and a sister Mary Turner.

Survivors include 1 Son Kevin Stilley and wife Susan of Ft. Worth, TX 1 Daughter Clydette Womack and husband Reece of Edmond, OK Daughter in Law Susie Stilley of Miami, OK Brother Ed Stilley of Eureka Springs, AR Sister Elizabeth Winjum of Indianola, IA 9 Grandchildren 6 Great Grandchildren

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10:00a.m. at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Miami, OK. Rev. Gerald Dyer and Larry Olds will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Pallbearers will be Dale Bryan, Buddy Kerley, Steve Garrett, Mike McCoy, Mark Billings and Fred VonMoss, Jr. Military Rites will be conducted by American Legion Post No. 147 Funeral Detail. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK. Services are under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami, OK.
