Here's something that not
every CardinKid is aware of. A few, including
me, have seen it. On
the Mall, Washington, D. C., in the Museum of
Natural History, the tri-state
mining district has a display on the second floor.
The top left samples come from Hockerville, while the
ones on the right are from Joplin
The lower left
sample is from the Woodchuck mine,
CARDIN, OKLAHOMA. I discovered this in 1963,
and took
these pictures in 1981. If I had known then
what I know now, I would have
taken a better picture.
I already have a request in for more detailed
pictures,
and when I get them, they'll be here.
